About Us

As a Christian community, we seek to engage with the world around us and be a place of welcome and acceptance for all on a journey to God - believers, doubters and those who are seeking. St Michael's has a liberal catholic tradition, is located at the heart of the town in the main shopping street, and is usually open during daylight hours. You are welcome to come in at any time to enjoy a moment's stillness or to light a candle, as well as to attend any of the services and events. All services use modern language and major festivals are marked by the use of incense.
