About Us

Wherever you are in life, we have good news for you. Woodlands is an independent Christian church and has been part of the Allestree community in Derby for over 40 years. We are ordinary people who have come to experience the amazing truth about God's love in our lives. We want to help meet the needs of others where we live. Our beliefs and practices are those of mainstream Christianity as presented in the Bible. Our vision and activities extend outside the church, to our city and the wider world. We support organisations helping those in need in Derby as well as assisting missionaries and relief organisations to bring spiritual and physical hope to needy people worldwide.
